She hands him a twenty and a ten. "Thanks." Grabbing the bottles she walked out of the store, opening a bottle of vodka and downing some on the way. Zeke's license was in her pocket, some liquor finally in her hand, and a fire waiting. Not too bad. Walking down the alley she carefully put the bottles down before handing Zeke his license. "Here you go. There's vodka, whiskey and wine if you want some." Turning to the fire she poured some of the vodka onto the burning book, turning it into a blazing inferno. She wanted to laugh her head off. The fire was so pretty. Instead, she downed more vodka, half the bottle nearly gone.

I shove the license in my pocket and grab the whiskey. I drink some and marvel at the fire.

There had to be something else to burn. The book was turning to ash, and the cardboard book wasn't far behind. The vodka helped, but she didn't want to waste it on the flames. It was much better for drinking. She shrugged it off and kept drinking, the only sound the cracking of the fire and the swish of the alcohol in the bottle. Or at least that's all she heard. Fire and vodka just went hand in hand. Something about the bright flames and the sparking fire made her think of alcohol. Or maybe that was just her alcoholic mind.

As I drink the strong whiskey, I'm taken back to the day I killed Ryan, my twin. My mind raced feverishly and intenember the shock I was in.

As the vodka clouded her mind, she sat down, her back against the wall. Her chin rested on her knees, and her head swam with memories. Finishing off the bottle, she tossed it into the fire, supressing a laugh as it shattered. She sat for a moment, watching the fire and the glass inside.

I finish the bottle and do the same. I sit down on a box and pull my iPhone out. I stare at the time. 11:30 pm it had gotten that late? Past curfew? Crap if we got caught, it would be then end of me.

Glancing at the remaining bottles, she watched as the fire dimmed. It was then that she noticed it was dark, and quiet. How late was it? A quick check of her ipod told her that it was 11:32. Then she remembered Zeke saying that he had been to jail... was it possible he was on probation? If he was he'd be sent back, along with her since she was obviously drunk and had a dictionary burning near alcohol and off her property. So arson and under age drinking. Going to jail was not high on her list of priorities; she had avoided it so far and wasn't about to start now. "Shit... When did it get late?"

"Why, are you on probation?" That made her think of jail again, but she shook it off. Putting one headphone in, she turned on her ipod and Cellar Door by Escape The Fate filled her ear. Watching the fire, alcohol in her system, and listening to music at 11 o'clock at night. Pretty normal for her. The only difference from the usual was that Zeke was here.

"I'm sure you'll be fine... Odds are we won't get caught but if we do I'm pretty good at getting out of situations. I'd get you out of there." She turns her gaze on him. "So what do you want to do?" Her eyes were only slightly glazed, just barely hinting at the empty bottle of vodka she had consume.

She got up as well and looked at the fire. It was now mere glowing embers, the fire having finally died. "Well that's helpful." She muttered, looking to the two remaining bottles. "Do you want 'em or do you want me to take them?"

"Which one to you want?" Handing him both bottles to let him choose. After he had made his decision, she took the remaining one back and looked at him again. "With your curfew you'd probably be best off to go somewhere where there's a smaller risk of getting caught, so where do you want to go?"
